By Georgie Smithwick, Managing Director, Techstars London

Over 3000 founders applied to join the Techstars London Spring program, and last week we welcomed eleven pre-seed founders from across the world to London. Over the next three months, they will be immersed in an intense environment designed to fast-track traction and fundraising readiness. They’ll be surrounded by a dedicated team of ex-founders and operators, along with a carefully curated group of 80 mentors in the heart of London.

This year’s cohort is focused on AI, with standout founders building verticalized platforms across legal, insurance, payments, healthcare, climate, and edtech. They’ve left roles at companies like Fiverr, Bridgewater, IBM, McKinsey, Aon, and Arup to bring AI to underserved markets, particularly before the days of Gen AI. Our founders have relocated from Canada, Greece, The Netherlands, Tel Aviv, France, Dubai, and the US to be part of this journey.

The program will culminate in a Demo Day where these founders will showcase their progress to investors, industry leaders, and the broader tech community.
