Techstars Columbus Powered By The Ohio State University Announces Spring 2025 Cohort

New year, new Techstars Columbus cohort!

2024 ushered in our first two classes of founders and a groundswell of support from the central Ohio ecosystem. We now have 24 alumni companies using AI and other novel technology to change the lives of patients, clinicians, civil servants, academic researchers, EV drivers, sports fans, musicians, and so many others across all walks of life.

Those exceptional founders were empowered by support from the 360+ mentors and community members who generously counseled and opened doors for them. Columbus steps up for founders and we are so grateful.

Our partnership with The Ohio State University and the Center for Software Innovation has played a critical role in these companies’ growth, with several of them finding early customers and partners with institutions like the Wexner Medical Center, CDME, and the storied Athletic Program, home of the 2024 football national champions (OH-IO 🌰)!

On a more personal note, I (Tim) made Columbus my full-time home last year and it’s been one of the best decisions my partner Sarah and I could have made.

The next class has landed in Columbus and we’re so excited to share them with you. Once again, these companies represent a wide spectrum of founders, products and geographies, united in their missions to address key issues in the world around us. Ohio is well-represented in this cohort as this ecosystem continues to produce a high density of innovations in critical sectors like healthcare and fintech. Even more, this density is a proven attractant for companies building on the coasts, and this class is no exception, with novel products applying AI to voice authentication, productivity, wastewater treatment and tools for the visually impaired.

On behalf of our exceptional partners Shereen Agrawal and Ratmir Timashev, our EIRs and our countless mentors, we introduce the Spring 2025 Techstars Columbus class!

P.S. If you want to be among the first to meet these founders, please join us on March 12th for a meet & greet at Ohio State’s Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship.
