Applications for our 2021 program are now open! This is the fourth program we have run in partnership with Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs. This program is especially relevant for companies looking to build a deeper relationship with Comcast NBCUniversal as it gives startups unique access to key decision makers during the accelerator. Applications will close on May 12th with the program running from August 16th until November 12th.
Focus Areas for 2021
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated innovation, particularly how people communicate, how they work, and what they turn to for entertainment. We are excited to meet the entrepreneurs that are finding opportunity in this environment, especially those who are building companies in the following focus areas:
Future of Work
The future of work will see new workplace models with teams spread globally as well as in-person which will require newer, richer collaboration tools that better enable teams to work together and/or asynchronously.
Connected Living
Next-generation smart home applications and virtual technologies have turned the home into our operating system for work, school, entertainment, socialization, exercise and wellness. With a growing number of connected devices in our homes, we need better solutions to install, manage and secure this IoT ecosystem.
Next Gen Entertainment
The way we consume content is ever-evolving, with more immersion and interactivity. New platforms, formats and technologies provide additional opportunities to create and deliver a broader range of entertainment and lifestyle experiences.
Personalized Experiences
Consumers want experiences that are customized to their individual preferences. Advances in data and technologies enable a better understanding of consumers and create opportunities to develop new offerings and delivery models.
