Over the next three months, the founders will work closely with a diverse group of international mentors, including experienced fintech founders, operators, advisors, and investors, to accelerate their growth. They will also gain invaluable exposure to ABN AMRO’s operations, with the opportunity to explore commercial pilots with the bank. Through the Techstars Global Network, founders will access a wealth of knowledge and resources, while forging life-changing connections with their cohort, alumni network, and the global Techstars community.
This year’s class includes companies from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK, with founders representing 12 different nationalities. They are tackling pressing challenges in the rapidly evolving world of finance, including green finance and digital assets. Many of the companies are working at the cutting edge of generative AI to drive innovation in their respective market segments. Each has the potential to become a category-defining enterprise.
The Future of Finance Alumni Panel highlighted the power of corporate-startup collaboration in driving innovation. ABN AMRO leaders and startup founders shared how working together has enabled them to tackle complex challenges like AI and ESG through co-development and agile problem-solving. The panel emphasized the importance of embracing uncertainty, leveraging partnerships for rapid experimentation, and learning from each other's strengths. Both startups and ABN AMRO agreed that building the future of finance relies on collaboration, adaptability, and a willingness to innovate together. We are honored to introduce the ABN AMRO + Techstars Future of Finance Class of 2024.
