We are thrilled to announce the eleven companies selected for the 2024 Techstars Physical Health Fort Worth Accelerator. These companies were chosen from thousands of startups worldwide, representing the best and brightest in physical health innovation. This marks the third year of our program, and we’re excited to continue our partnership with the University of North Texas Health Science Center, the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, and Goff Capital.
Our selection process was rigorous, with a focus on identifying startups that are not only innovative but also aligned with the evolving needs of the health care landscape. These companies will benefit from the strong network we've built, including key relationships with leading health providers, health systems, hospitals, and insurance companies across North Texas.
Our team, composed of Managing Director, Trey Bowles and Program Manager, Jordan Warnement remain at the helm of this program working closely with the founders and our greater Techstars Network to support and help our founders grow… Jordan Warnement states, “I am thrilled to be kicking off the third program for the Techstars Physical Health Fort Worth Accelerator! Our team has worked so hard not only planning the best accelerator program possible in partnership with our world class mentors and Corporate Partner but traveling to nine different cities to source the most innovative healthcare startups in the world. Getting to come alongside these life changing founders is truly an honor and is my driving force behind my passion for serving early stage startups in an operations role.” Additionally the Techstars Physical Health team will be adding to incredible EiRs (Entrepreneurs in Residence) to help with the program this year. “Gabriela Sabate and Patrick Colletti, who are both entrepreneurs, investors and subject matter experts with decades of experience in healthcare will be a key part of our program to help our founders fully leverage our 13 week program to allow them to be prepared to grow and create scalable, sustainable businesses for the long run”, stated Trey Bowles on the role of the Entrepreneurs-in-Residence for this Fall 2024 program. “These EiRs alongside of nearly 250 mentors in our program will provide a great environment to support, connections, counsel and accountability for the founders in the program for this year.”
This year, we’re poised for our best program yet, offering unparalleled access to mentors, subject matter experts, and a robust network of investors. We’re also placing a concerted focus on connecting our current cohort with Techstars alumni and growth-stage health tech companies across our portfolio, ensuring that each startup has the support and resources they need to thrive.
Fort Worth has firmly established itself as a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, especially in the health care sector. Ranked as the 7th best startup hub in the country earlier this year, Fort Worth continues to grow as a leader in the entrepreneurial landscape. We’re eager to see how this community will continue to evolve and foster even more groundbreaking companies in the years to come.
